The Pursuit exists to glorify Jesus and in doing so, bring people into an encounter with the presence of God.

"Born and raised in Seattle, I have always felt that God has something special for me to do in the Northwest. I never imagined it would look like planting a church.

I spent the first part of my adult-life working in politics, but God had other plans. In the summer of 2014, my wife Marija and I stepped out in faith to start The Pursuit.

We’ve made a decision to live intentionally passionate lives, pursuing the presence of God. Our church started in a barn with no indoor plumbing, no heat, and broken windows. But God was up to something. He has used the faith of a few young adults with a dream to confound the wise.
Over the last decade, we have seen God move in miraculous ways. Time and time again, as we have stepped out in faith, God has provided. Pursuit now hosts weekly services at several campuses, reaching people across the world with the gospel and the message of Jesus Christ.

We would not be here today without the generosity and sacrifice of so many who share our same desire - to see revival sweep our nation. The best days for Pursuit are ahead. More prodigals are coming home, more bodies will be healed, and countless lives will be transformed.

Every day, we feel fortunate just to be a part of this story.

PURSUIT'S STORY

We exist to bring people into an encounter with the presence of God and see lives transformed by the power of Jesus. The Bible is our foundation and final authority, and we live fully surrendered to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—one God in three persons.

Salvation is a free gift of grace through faith in Jesus Christ, and through the Holy Spirit, believers are empowered to live holy, bold, and victorious lives.

We embrace the present-day ministry of the Holy Spirit—signs, wonders, healing, speaking in tongues, and the gifts of the Spirit are for today. We celebrate water baptism and communion as sacred acts of obedience and remembrance, and we live in eager expectation of the second coming of Jesus.

We believe in the sanctity of life, God’s design for marriage, and the church’s mandate to influence culture with the light and love of Christ. Above all, our mission is simple: to encounter God, be transformed by His Spirit, and release His kingdom everywhere we go.

Pursuit Church is built on a foundation of integrity, accountability, and spiritual leadership. Our church is governed by a Board of Elders who provide both spiritual oversight and operational guidance. This team ensures our doctrine remains sound and our decisions align with God’s will.

The Senior Pastor leads the vision and teaching of the church, supported by campus pastors at each location. While our members do not vote on church decisions, they are encouraged to pray for and engage with leadership. This structure allows us to stay nimble, focused, and unified in our pursuit of revival and reformation.

We also believe in financial transparency. Our board and pastoral team steward resources with excellence and regularly share financial updates with the congregation, reinforcing a culture of trust and generosity.

At Pursuit, church isn’t something you attend—it’s a family you join. We believe every follower of Jesus is called to be a contributor, not just a consumer. That means getting involved through your Time, Talent, and Treasure.
 • Time means being present—not just on Sundays, but in community, small groups, and events that grow your faith.
 • Talent means serving with your unique gifts, whether in worship, kids ministry, hospitality, media, or beyond.
 • Treasure means giving faithfully and sacrificially. We teach and model tithing as a baseline of obedience and generosity.

You’ll also find ministries tailored for men, women, youth, young adults, business leaders, and more. Wherever you are in your spiritual journey—whether in a season of healing (Hospital), belonging (Family), or purpose (Army)—there’s a next step waiting for you.
